Rolf Lyssy counts with his impressive oeuvre from feature films and documentaries on the outstanding filmmakers of the Switzerland.
After her apprenticeship as a photographer, Lyssy turned to film and acted in 1966 on the documentation URSULA OR THE UNVALUED LIFE of Reni Mertens and Walter Marti as cameraman and editor. He caused an international sensation in 1975 with KONFRONTATION, the Story about the assassination of the Jewish student David Frankfurter on the high-ranking Nazi Wilhelm Gustloff in Davos. With his masterpiece DIE SCHWEIZERMACHER he created in 1978 the still most successful Swiss film. Further great successes with dialect comedies followed like KASSETTENLIEBE (1981), TEDDY BÄR (1983) and LEO SONNYBOY (1989).
His latest comedy, EDEN FÜR JEDEN, will celebrate its world premiere at ZFF.

Marco Biscarini is an Italian composer who was born in 1965 in Bologna, Italy. In 1990 he made his degree in Musicology and from 1993 to 1995 he studied Music for Film under Ennio Morricone at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena.
His soundtrack for “Il Vento fa il suo giro” won the first prize at the Lagonero’s contest “Music for film” in 2007. The soundtrack for “L’uomo che verrà” was awarded with the “Ennio Morricone Award”, also as the Best Soundtrack at the “Bari Film-Fest” and made it into the finals of the “David di Donatello” 2010.

He worked for many years in the financial industry, where he developed alternative investment products. Alexander is the Chief Commercial Officer of the Zug-based big data music technology company Utopia Music, responsible for client relationships. Alexander is also a member of the Zurich parliament and the founder of Urban Innovation Association that connects smart city startups with politicians. Jérôme Brunner has been head of the SRF Music Consultancy for three years. His five-member team supports SRG journalists in selecting music to accompany TV, radio and online reports. The music advisory service is also the point of contact for collaboration with composers and music labels. Robin Coudert alias Rob studied at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
He worked with Sebastien Tellier and Phoenix on different projects at the beginning of the 2000s. In 2005, he composed his first original score to the short film Pink Cowboy Boots, and produces several artists such as Melissa Mars (2005), Zaza Fournier (2008), Alizée, Adanowski (2010) or Leon Larregui (2011) - n°1 in Mexico.
He started to work more for the film industry, and developed a strong collaboration with director Rebecca Zlotowski (Belle Epine, Planétarium). He is especially known for his work on horror movies such as Frank Khalfoun's Maniac, and Alexandre Aja's Horns. He is also well known for his score to acclaimed French tv-series Le Bureau des Légendes (The Bureau).
Rob recently scored the music to Mounia Meddour's drama Papicha, which was selected at Cannes 'Un Certain Regard'.
Next to his work as a composer, Rob is also a producer and created Hippocampus Studio with producer Jack Lahana.
Dascha Dauenhauer began playing the piano at the age of five, which was soon followed by piano and composition lessons. A large variety of own works was created. Her orchestral piece "Sinfonietta“ was premiered at the Philharmonie Berlin in 2004. After her study in piano and music theory (UdK), she completed her Master of Film Music at the Filmuniversity KONRAD WOLF. Since then she has worked on numerous cinema productions. Her films are shown internationally at many established film festivals. Yati Durant is a U.S. born composer, lecturer, trumpeter and conductor. His musical background began with composition and jazz music from the age of 7. He was a founding member of the experimental jazz ensemble Honey Junkie and The Yati Durant Project Band in the 1990s. He studied with Portland trumpeter (and Grammy winner) Thara Memory before moving to New York, where he began a successful stint as a TV and film music composer. Yati holds a Diploma and prestigious Konzertexam Meisterklasse in composition from the Polish composer Krzysztof Meyer at the State Conservatory of Music in Cologne, Germany, as well as a Diploma in Electronic Composition under Hans Ulrich Humpert. He has also studied with George Crumb, Philip Lasser, Narcis Bonet, Lee Konitz and conducting with Jonathan Brett. From 2010 - 2019 Yati was a Lecturer and Programme Director of the MSc Composition for Screen Programme at the University of Edinburgh. His compositions and films have received many prizes from International festivals, including a 3rd Pl. Panorama Public Prize at the 2008 Berlin International Film Festival for Erika Rabau – Der Puck von Berlin and a BAFA National Commerce Film Award nomination for the WDR/ARD documentary Ein Klavier geht um die Welt. He is a finalist of the 2009 Concorso Giovani Musicisti Europei in Aosta, Italy with his score to C. Chaplin’s The Vagabond. His contemporary compositions have been commissioned and performed in New York, Seattle, Berlin, Edinburgh, Cologne and Sao Paolo, released on CD and DVD by Film Dienst/Normal Records, Filmmuseum München and he remains an active performer of jazz, with regular appearances and recordings throughout Europe and USA. His TV and Film credits include work for WDR, ARD, HBO, MTV, Disney and many others.

Adina Friis (*1988) is a jazz pianist, singer, songwriter and composer for film and theatre. She studied jazz piano, singing and composition in Lucerne, Zurich and Copenhagen.
Her main musical project is the jazz trio "Luumu", with which she transforms her most personal thoughts and ideas into art. Since 2010 she has been playing concerts in Switzerland and abroad. Since 2015 she has been writing the music for various theatres and from 2017-2019 she was responsible for the musical design of the "Berner Reden" at the Konzerttheater Bern.

Karin Heberlein trained as an actress at Central School of Speech & Drama in London. She worked for various theatres in the UK, co-wrote and performed with a number of ensembles, and toured festivals across the globe. Her focus shifted to film after attending the Master Class programme at the NFTS/Met Film School. In 2013 she received a scholarship for the Drehbuchwerkstatt München at the HFF. For nearly 12 years, until early 2020, he ran the Masters Programme in Composition for Screen at the Royal College for Music. Pascal Hofmann is a Swiss author and director who was born in Grisons in 1977. After finishing his diploma as draftsman, he studied film direction at the Zurich University of Arts. He has been a self-employed filmmaker since 2016. Cornelia Köhler has been working in the media industry since 2000, first as a producer of the sitcoms "Das Amt" and "Bernds Hexe" for Cologne-Gemini film, later in the script development for Constantin Entertainment. Since 2007 Cornelia Köhler has been an independent script-writer for cinema, TV formats and stage. Together with the composer Camille van Lunen she wrote the youth operas “Talitha, come back!” and „Over the Wall“ in 2020. Hanna Sophie Lüke is a music journalist, presenter and musician/composer. She completed her master's degree "Music Journalism for Broadcasting and Multimedia" with distinction in 2013. Since then she has been working as a music journalist for editorial offices of the Westdeutscher Rundfunk in Cologne (1LIVE, WDR 2, WDR 3, WDR 4, WDR Funkhausorchester), and can be heard regularly on the radio.
She has been working as a composer and singer-songwriter with the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg since 2018. Rens Machielse is the former director of HKU Music and Technology, one of the schools of HKU University of the Arts Utrecht. He lectured film music at a.o. the Film Academy Amsterdam, the Film Academy Baden Württemberg, Summerschool Utrecht, MediaSound Hamburg, the Reid School of Music University of Edinburgh and he was a member of the editorial board of The New Soundtrack, a magazine on the relationship between sound and moving images. Rens composed music for over three hundred theatre plays and audiovisuals such as TV series, feature films, documentaries, commercials and animations. He was awarded for his music several times during his career by BumaStemra and at the New York Festivals. Rens is chairing the board of Gaudeamus Muziekweek and a board member of Music Institute MultiMedia. In 2020, his book The Sound Track was published in Dutch and English and he scored the soundtrack for the animation movie SEE ME.
Rens is currently co-producing a monthly online talkshow & magazine about music for media. He is preparing an extensive online publication about art and design education in close collaboration with his former colleague Jan IJzermans.

Pascal Münger is co-owner of Mojo 3, a federal marketing expert and musician. Mojo 3 is a Swiss full-service music agency that composes and produces its music for advertising and film in its own studios in Zurich, Bern and Berlin. Olivia Pedroli is a singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist from Switzerland. She has released four studio albums, which have enabled her to explore different musical directions, tour extensively and collaborate with international artists, thereby defining a very personal style. Tina Pepper is an award-winning television and film composer based in Berlin. Niki Reiser is one of the most outstanding film composers in the German-speaking world. He realised his first film DU MICH AUCH in 1986 together with director Dani Levy, for whose films he has written all the music to this day. Besides working with Levy, he also composed music for the director Caroline Link, among others. With the film music for her first film JENSEITS DER STILLE (1996) he made his real breakthrough with the German Film Prize and an Oscar nomination for the best foreign film. Reiser also wrote the music for the film "Nowhere in Africa", which won the Oscar for best foreign film in 2002. Janne Spijkervet, MSc. is a composer and artificial intelligence researcher who explores the notion of creativity with self-learning algorithms. At the age of 14 she studied classical- and jazz composition at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree at the HKU University of Arts Utrecht with honors, interned at Hans Zimmer's studios in Los Angeles, and developed a system that learned to write music like Bach in her thesis. In 2020, she earned her Master of Science degree at the University of Amsterdam where she conducted research about how algorithms learn in an unsupervised manner: without humans that explicitly tell a computer something about the world it perceives. She has worked with artists to create songs using artificial intelligence and has performed on radio and television shows explaining the wide range of possibilities and impact of the creative use of A.I. Her team achieved the second place in the first A.I. Song Contest, which was the first Eurovision Song Contest with songs composed by A.I. algorithms.BACK
The Young Gods have been pushing the limits of sound for more than thirty years. They began as pioneers of industrial punk who flirted with surreal cabaret, and as sonic
wizards they moved on to shamanize electro/techno music, all the while forging their own unique sound. In the process they became legends of the European scene.

For his work he has received a.o. the Swiss Film Prize 'Quartz' four times ('Zara' 2009, 'Goodnight Nobody' 2011, 'When the Sun fell' 2016 and 'Chris the Swiss' 2019), the 'Prix Fondation Suisa' ('Tandoori Love' 2009), the prize for 'Best Film Score' at the Filmfestival Angers ('Joshua' 2003) and Valencia ('Where is Max' 2009). In 2012 he received the 'Zurich City Award' ('Werkjahr der Stadt Zurich') for his work. Marcel Vaid is a guest lecturer at the Zurich University of the Arts and a member of the Swiss and European Film Academies. He lives with his family in Zurich.BACK

She is an established expert in the entertainment industry with a focus on music and film law as well as cooperative negotiation and conflict resolution. For the last three years she was in the board of BMG Rights Management GmbH as their global General Counsel and CHRO. Prior to BMG she was managing director of the music companies of Constantin Film AG and before that in the management team of EMI Music Germany GmbH & Co. KG as their leading lawyer.BACK
Irène Philipp Ziebold is Chief Operations Officer at SUISA and a member of the Executive Committee. She joined SUISA in 1988 and headed the Performance and Broadcasting Rights Department before joining the Executive Committee in 2010. The "Operations" department brings together SUISA's customer and member services and thus the core process from royalty income to distribution.BACK
As Chief Information Officer, Jürg Ziebold is responsible for SUISA's IT department. Since the advent of online use of music and audiovisual works in particular, SUISA has invested heavily in the development of its IT. This has enabled, among other things, the establishment of the Mint Digital Services joint venture with its US partner SESAC. Mint offers music publishers and collecting societies worldwide services for the billing of online music use. Jürg Ziebold has been at SUISA for 28 years.BACK
Born 1976, in Biel-Bienne (CH), he lives and works as a musician and composer in Zurich. Since 1999, he works together with the collective 400ASA and he composed for municipal playhouses, a.o. the Schauspielhaus Zurich, Lucerne and Bochum (Germany), Theater Basel and Maxim Gorki Theater, Berlin. He made compositions to a number of ballet productions (a.o. for introdans, Arnhem, NL, Tanzhaus Zürich, Gessnerallee Zürich).
Since 2004 has been composing original music for feature films as for example: "Strähl" (2004), "Im Sog nach Nacht" (2009), "Mary & Johnny“ (2011) winner SUISA Filmmusic Award in Locarno, "One Way Trip 3D" (2011).“Der Teufel von Mailand“ (2012), „Der Polder“ (2015), „Kleine Prinzen“ Tatort (2016), „Private Banking (2018), „Lovecut“ (2020).
Besides this he releases, his own Music projects through his label Air Afrique Records and plays drum in the Band „Dirty Slips“ from Zurich.
Robert Jan Meyer, also known as Minus 8, is a producer and disc jockey. He has released 7 albums with various labels including Sony, Universal Music, Compost Records and others. His own tracks appeared on over 100 compilations as „Cafe Del Mar“, „Hotel Costes“ or „Fashion Week“. His passion for movies has led him to compose music for many films, short films, spots and trailers. Of note, Apple Inc. used a Minus 8 track for the worldwide campaign of the Apple PowerBook.BACK
