Music in the Age of AI
The opportunities and challenges that Artificial Intelligence presents for music and culture remain one of the defining topics of our time. SoundTrack_Zurich shines a light on this conversation with a series of panels and workshops dedicated to the application of AI in the music industry.
On Wednesday, October 30, data scientist Jean-Michel Roufosse (Deezer, Paris) will sit down with composer Martin Villiger to discuss how AI is putting the music ecosystem under pressure, and what that means for the people working within the industry.
The same day, composer Yevgeni Birkhoff leads a workshop on AI in music production, exploring the creation of plugins with coding agents without knowing how to code.
On Thursday, October 1, Alex Black (CEO, Sonoton), Renato Horvath (Eastaste Music), Adi Frutiger (composer) and Martin Villiger (composer) will discuss how the production music industry is responding creatively to AI's unstoppable rise.
