Sync Insights at STZ07
On Thursday, October 1st, SoundTrack_Zurich will bring together an outstanding lineup of music supervisors, licensing managers, music consultants, and publishers from across Europe and beyond for a series of panels offering valuable insights into the world of sync for film, TV, advertising, and more.
Music supervisors Lucile Delrieu Alauzy (Royal Sync, Paris), Jeanette Rehnström (Avant Music Port, Cork), Sarah Rimkus (Berlin), and Borja Torres (Lovemonk, Madrid) will join Sara Schär (movietracks, Zurich) for a conversation about their experience in music supervision, exploring their recent projects, the differences between national markets and workflows, current challenges in the field, and their perspectives on AI and the future of the profession.
A workshop on the lifecycle of your first sync placement will be led by Elena Miraglia (Head of Licensing at Sync Flies), Florian Prengel (Head of Film Music Marketing at Roba Music Publishing) and Claudia Kempf (Head of Members Department at SUISA), in conversation with Ben Galler (music manager and publisher).
"Production Music: Creative Answers to AI" is a panel where Alex Black (CEO, Sonoton), Renato Horvath (Eastaste Music), Adi Frutiger (composer), and Martin Villiger (composer) will discuss the dynamics of production music in the age of AI with composer Olav Lervik. The session will highlight the differences between film scoring and production music and how to navigate the industry amid the AI frenzy.
